Urban Lumberjack - Pear

Missionary Samuel Marsden brought the first Pear and Apple trees to New Zealand and planted them at the Church Missionary Society settlement at Kerikeri. One of the original Pear trees, planted in 1819, still survives. A tree planted by the Stone Store in Kerikeri is thought to be the oldest Pear tree in New Zealand at 189 years old.

It’s not from an orchard, it’s from a child care center where they grow their own fruit and vegies. It has never been sprayed.
